About

Why Calmer Walks exists

Useful information about reactive dogs is out there — scattered across research papers, trainer accounts, and forum threads. Calmer Walks exists to bring the useful parts together into something an owner can actually read on a hard day and put to use on the next walk.

Our approach

We favour reward-based, force-free methods, and we try to be honest about what's genuinely well-established versus what's still debated among professionals. We'd rather say "the evidence here is limited" than dress up a guess as certainty.

How our content is created

Our guides and articles are researched and written with care, drawing on published, reward-based behavioural science and professional position statements. [Placeholder — add specifics about your research and review process here.]

Who's behind this

[Placeholder — add your own story here: who you are, why you started Calmer Walks, and any relevant background.]

Important disclaimer. Calmer Walks provides educational information only. It is not a diagnosis, and it is not a substitute for an individualised assessment from a qualified veterinarian or behaviour professional — particularly where a bite history or serious aggression is involved.
